Who We Are

Eric Treadwell: Founder
Eric is the instigator of Father/Kid Adventures. While growing up in Texas, his father took the family on monthly camping trips. Those trips and other outdoor adventures fueled his desire to share the same with his own children. So when he grew up, Eric joined the founders of Father/Kid Adventures for camping and canoeing in southwest Ohio. By the time the founders' kids left for college, Eric realized that because God only gave him one son, he had plenty of time to take over the planning of adventures. While Eric's son has also left for college, he wants to continue helping fathers connect with their children through great adventures.
John Siu
John is a newcomer to camping and Father/Kid Ministries.

A native of Tulsa, OK, John grew up in an environment where all members had to contribute to the family business. This was considered family time. In changing the narrative for his own children, John has become a contributing member and has introduced his children to outdoor adventures with the help of this Ministry.

He hopes that the experiences create lasting memories for his sons that will carry them into their adult years.
John Siu

Jordan grew up in Minnesota and enjoyed camping as young boy with his family.

As a father of 2 daughters, he took them on multiple camping trips through the YMCA. He also spent many years supporting his church through VBS and teaching Sunday School.

Now that his children are grown up, he wants to help others enjoy the outdoor life camping with their kids and is excited to help Father/Kid Adventures bring families closer together.

Terry is your FKA webmaster and graphic designer.

After 24+ years in the IT, design and web world Terry is joining the crew as we all set out on our newest adventure, getting the word out to all the fathers and kids!

He is dedicated to this adventure and is waiting to make this site the go to place for all the father kid adventures
